Meet the bards!

Tyler Tanner
Tyler Tanner is a proud graduate of the Ohio University BFA in Theatre Performance program (Class of 2016). He was last seen on the National tour of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical (Grover/Mr.D). After graduation, he spent a season at the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre as an Acting/Education intern. He performed in Shakespeare in Love (Wabash/Frees), Twelfth Night (Valentine/Priest), Man of La Mancha (Tenorio), It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (Foley Sound Guy), and Showtime with Shakespeare (Will Shakespeare). He had his Off-Broadway debut in Rebel Playhouse’s musical production of The Stray (Ichabod), which you can stream on SoundCloud. Some of his favorite past productions include Next to Normal (Henry), Well Intentioned White People (Parker), and Rashomon (Priest). He is so proud to be the co-founder of Boozy Bards and is eager to share some shots and sonnets with you all! Cheers!

Amanda Wester
Amanda was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, and got her first love of being in front of an audience in elementary school plays. Unsure of what this passion she felt was, she sought out an audience through pageantry where her passion for the stage continued to bloom. Amanda joined the military after high school and when she returned home, she began getting involved in the local community in Boise. When the pandemic hit and filming came to a still, Amanda was still eager to learn and discovered the book "The Actor's Art and Craft." Five months later she booked a one-way flight to NYC to train at the William Esper Studio for the next two years. Now, a year after graduating, Amanda is thrilled to join her fellow acting friends as Boozy Bards. While nervous and excited, Amanda is overjoyed to make her Brooklyn debut as a co-founder of Boozy Bards!

Samantha Positano
Samantha is excited to be performing in her first Shakespeare production with Boozy Bards! She has the rare joy of being from two controversial states having been born in New Jersey but raised Florida. She grew up training in classical ballet at the Next Generation Ballet in Tampa Bay. Samantha then went on to receive her BFA in Dance from Point Park University where she broke the shackles of her bunhead existence and discovered her love for all different types of movement.* Samantha has resided in New York since finishing University where she followed her passion for acting to the William Esper Acting Studio. She is a graduate of the program, studying under the tutelage of Bruce McCarty. Samantha made her New York theater debut in a production of “Maricela de la Luz Lights the World“ at the HB Playwrights Theater. Her T.V and Film credits include The Marvelous Mrs.Maisel, No Joke, and Bad Education. Samantha regularly performs with musical artist Emi Larraud and is dancing in a show with them at Arlene’s Grocery directly after this production. She asks that you do not send her tequila shots so that she can twirl properly. *It was basically the hit y2K dance film Center Stage.

Sean Costello
Sean is a Brooklyn-based actor and musician, and (most importantly) in the words of actress Jordan Baker-Kilner, "odd." After receiving a Music Industry and Music Production degree from Northeastern University, he decided to move to the big city and pursue acting at the William Esper Studio, a dream held since he dressed up as an actor for his 5th grade career day (he basically just wore a hat). He's thrilled to return to Shakespeare with Boozy Bards after his earth-shattering eighth grade performance of Macduff in Macbeth, though he was clearly not drunk for that one.

He always gives thanks to his loving family and his fiancée Taylor. Shakespeare is one of the greatest joys, and Tom hopes to do the man justice while shit-faced.

Jillian Hinz
Jillian Hinz isn’t quite sure how she got here but is happy to be involved. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she is a recent graduate of Pace University with a degree in Writing and Rhetoric and is currently pursing a masters degree in Publishing. But the acting thing is cool too. She has appeared onstage with Rockaway Theatre Company, Zneefrock Productions, abroad in Scotland’s University of Stirling, and off-Broadway with Cherry Mahogany Improv. Favorite previous credits include Princess in Starkid’s Twisted, Amiens in As You Like It, Marcia in Our Lady Of 121st Street, and Charlotte in Pace University’s Get A Clue!: A Murder Mystery which she also wrote and directed. Forever a Shakespeare nerd and lover of good drinks, Jillian is thrilled to make her Boozy Bards debut!

Chip Rybak
Chip Rybak was born in the hamlet of Torrington, Connecticut, in the Northwest part of the state. His early years of performing consisted of mimicking bits from The Three Stooges, Marx Brothers, and Charlie Chaplin, which he watched endlessly as a child on TV and VHS tapes. He pursued his passion for acting by studying at the Warner Theater and performing in high school productions. At the age of 18 Chip enrolled in acting conservatory at the University of Hartford, Hartt School of Drama. His studies at Hartt would take him across the ocean to study Shakespeare and Classic text in England. After graduating Chip worked in a dive bar and played guitar in a punk/blues/surf rock band, The Main Street Suits. His love of performance and acting would bring him to NYC, where he would go on to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC, the Moscow Art Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and at The Actors Studio Drama School M.F.A. Acting Program… all while working behind various bars in NYC, and as a journeyman actor in TV, film, and theater. Throughout the years Chip’s education and travels have taken him from dive bars to theater stages and film sets, from punk rock guitarist to Shakespearean trained actor. Chip currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.

She is thrilled to have the opportunity to be back on stage with such an incredible and welcoming group of actors!

Sabrina Araullo
Sabrina is excited and very terrified to join her first production ever! She’s currently in her side quest era and, after being inspired by last month’s Boozy Bards production, said “f*** it, let’s join the theater!” She hasn’t read Shakespeare since sophomore year of high school, but after 5+ years of working in PR and marketing she figured if she could lead corporate meetings, she could get on stage too. She’s also a lightweight and will most likely black out before Act IV.
